Will iPhones always be a constant?

#iPhone_L

This weeks thoughts:

So I've been thinking about how everyone centers their life around iPhones (and yes android users u too). When I say center I mean that whenever we try and think of what our future (or past) looks like (whether that be writing a letter to myself or just contemplating) we always think about (or ask) what model iPhone Apple is up to. Like when I wrote my year 7 letter I defs asked my year 12 self if iPhone 20 exists yet. It's kinda sad that we measure our lives around consumerism (wow that got deep quickly and it doesn't help that I'm listening to A Thousand Years rn either). But really like I wish my first 10 questions I ask my future self wouldn't include that, and maybe before this moment they wouldn't have but now I've put the idea into my brain 🤷. Then again is it necessarily bad? Or does my own societal views make it bad?

Anyway leaving my philosophical rabbit hole, I wanna talk about (#year2speeches) technology development. Will phones always be a thing? Will Apple see it through until the death of the world?? Will there at some point be a plateau of a certain iPhone number?? I think that when/ if that day comes, the world in general will feel very melancholic. But on a more positive note imagine how advance the tech would be...

----a moment for contemplation----

Kinda scary, like what would an iPhone L be able to do 😱??? No but I'm like actually scared, the entire sci-fi genre is real in alternate universes...

Side note of my life:

Guys I went to Tasmania!!! Next week I’ll post a full overview of the stuff I did and photos I took (on my iPhone btw)!!

Hope you have an advancing week

The iPhone was not just a communication tool but it's a way of life
