This weeks thoughts:

Um so y is it that at this time of year jacaranda trees just pop up everywhere??? Like I swear if u drive down any street ur bound to see at least one jacaranda tree but like when they’re not being all purple they just look like any other tree and no one cares. Lowkey reminding me of the song "mirrorball" (like how disco balls r nothing when no light is shining on them, kinda deep but I mean that's every folklore song).

Anyway, when they loose they're petals and make the pretty carpet of purple, I look at it and think two things:

1. That's rly pretty

2. Who's gonna clean that up?

But really, can we talk about how when it rains and there’s a bunch of purple petals on the ground it turns into a gross sludge. It’s really yucky (sorry idk y but I’m going through a phase of this word rn) and slippery. Maybe all beautiful things have a negative flaw...

Side note of my life:

I reached my 100 day Duolingo streak on Thursday!!

You should do Duolingo or at least some kind of language word game everyday whether that be Wordle, crosswords or word finds (y does the word 'word' look so weird now?), there's probs some research somewhere that says it's good for your brain and builds knowledge (at least that's what I keep telling myself). Also I watched 'A Trip to Infinity' on Netflix and it was really interesting and philosophical, watch it.
