This year I have been sooo #chronicallyonline so to put all that wasted internet time to use I thought I’d do a complilation of 2023’s pop culture/internet moments, obsessions and memes that we forgot about (if you have been as deep in the algorithm as I have).

Febuary 12th: Rhianna’s Super Bowl halftime show + backup dancer memes

March 24th: Pedro Pascal eating a sandwich meme

March 26th: Pope Francis's AI puffer jacket

April 22nd: Zendaya performing at Coachella

May 1st: The Met Gala cockroach

May 6th: King Charles coronation - its cost + Harry and Megan + Prince Andrew + the concert music lineup + the monarchy + the memes

May 15th: Keith Urban hardlaunching Phoebe Bridgers and Bo Burham at a Taylor Swift concert

June 16: Kourtney Kardashian’s pregnacy announcement during a Blink-182 concert + the reference to the ‘All The Small Things’ music video.

June - July: Musk vs Zucker - the cage fight + Threads launch + X switch up

August 24th: Donald’s mugshot

This year: Everyone having divorces/ breakups

Ariana Grande and Dalton Gomez + the thing with Wicked co-star Ethan Slater

Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn + the whole Matty Healy thing

Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner + their kids + Taylor Swift (current thing we will probs forget about)

November 23rd (2022): Wednesday + the dance (Ik it’s not this year, but it deserved an honerable mention)

Side note of something I found on the internet:

If you are bored I discovered this (sorta) game called: Emoji Kitchen. Just google ‘emoji kitchen’, and it comes up with this fun little tool where you can merge emoji’s to make and download (as images) new combo emoji’s.
